What is Cash Back and How Does It Work?

Cash Back turns your online shopping into real savings.

What is Cash Back?

Whether using the Karma app or browser extension, Cash Back is designed to turn your online shopping into real savings. As a registered user, you’ll automatically earn Cash Back on qualified purchases from participating retailers, along with perks like a $5 welcome bonus exclusive to Karma Dashboard (Web) and exclusive rewards. Your earnings are automatically tracked in your Karma account and can be easily withdrawn to a verified PayPal account once eligible.

How does Cash Back work?

In Karma Browser Extension: Activate the Karma Extension and log in → visit a store that supports Cash Back → shop as usual, your eligible purchases will be tracked automatically.

In Karma Safari Extension (for iPhone): Enable the Safari Extension and log in → visit a store that supports Cash Back → shop as you normally would.

In Karma Mobile App: Open the Karma App and log in → browse and shop at any Cash Back supported store.

Note: You can complete your purchase within the Karma App or through an external browser if redirected.

Purchases made in a retailer’s own app will not be tracked, and Cash Back will not apply.

What is a Supported Store and How to Check It?

Thousands of top brands, including Levi’s, Chanel, and Adidas, offer Cash Back rewards through Karma. You can easily check whether a store supports Cash Back by following the steps below:

On Karma Browser Extension: Go to a retailer’s site → click the K button → if the store supports Cash Back, view the estimated Cash Back percentage.

On Karma Mobile App: Open the Karma App and tap the shop tab → search for the store name → tap the Favorite icon to save it → go to Faved stores and select the store → if it’s a supported store, view the Cash Back section at the bottom of the page.

On Karma Dashboard (Web): Log in to your Karma Dashboard → scroll to the Cash Back section and click See All → use the search bar, scroll through the list, or browse by category.
